A 350+ room resort facility with water-intrusion problems requiring fast-track moisture control measures and assessment to keep the facility operational. Investigation of building envelope moisture problems. Provided forensic analysis, diagnosis, and design of corrections of both the building envelope and HVAC systems. A 350+ room resort facility with moisture-intrusion problems (storm response) requiring fast-track moisture control measures and assessment to return the facility to full operation.

Client: Masonry contractor and Sinkler & Boyd, PA
This hotel underwent a multi-million dollar replacement of the building envelope. The owner placed a $20+ million claim against the masonry contractor. Two months after the repairs were completed testing predicted the return of the problem. The claim was successfully defended after monitoring proved the return of the problem and that the original diagnosis was wrong.
